Overview
The
Specialty Series MEDLINE literature reference databases on
CD-ROM offer you easy, economical and rapid access to the
biomedical journal literature most frequently used in many
different medical specialties.
The literature references
are stored on CD-ROM optical data discs. The Knowledge
Finder®
fuzzy logic search software designed for Microsoft® WindowsTM
and Apple® Macintosh® lets you search these discs
easily and quickly.
Each data disc contains hundreds
of thousands of journal article references, selected from
the National Library of Medicine's (NLM) MEDLINE® database,
and covering anywhere from 5 to 32 years. Content is selected
based on journal title, and may be augmented by Medical Subject
Heading search strategies to select topical articles from
the entire content of MEDLINE.
